Philippa studied Fashion design with Business Studies at the University of Brighton and graduated in 2009, presenting an Autumn/Winter collection at the University’s catwalk show, held during London Graduate Fashion Week, in June 2009.

Philippa spent two seasons at Temperley London and has worked with a range of designers and creatives, including both Maia Norman’s Mother of Pearl and long term friend Derek Lawlor on his AW11 collaboration with Mari Mekko.

With over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, LOVELONG founder Philippa Long has worked with brands including Burberry, Dior, Givenchy, and Dunhill alongside running her eponymous ready-to-wear womenswear label since 2012.

Philippa is both a designer and maker, specialising in the three-dimensional process of design. She has a deep respect for makers and craftsmen and seeks always to preserve and elevate the physical art form of making.
